The Raspberry Pi is the centrepiece of our submersible designs. It not only controls the speed and direction of the engines but is also responsible to providing real-time telemetry including a live high definition video feed.


Today we familiarised ourselves with the operation of these amazing little devices which included some basic operations such as image capture.


After the initial excitement, we got down to work and it didn’t take long before we were controlling all aspects of the camera, including rotation, still shots, video and even special effects.
