Junior School Jump Rope for Heart Day was a huge success!

The students had a wonderful time on the afternoon of Monday 19 June at our Jump Off to raise money for the Heart Foundation. Each class performed a skipping routine to music which displayed the skills they had learnt over the past few weeks. It was great to see parents get involved, picking up a rope and skipping with their children.

Of the event, SMGS JRFH coordinator, Ms Tavia Taylor said, “Snowy Mountains Junior School raised a total of $2,272 to donate to the Heart Foundation, the most the school has ever raised. I am amazed by the generosity of our local community, parents and extended family who kindly donated, supporting our students and such a worthwhile cause. I extend my gratitude to everyone who donated or helped to support this event.”

Staff and students are already planning their skipping routines in anticipation of next years event.
