Snowy Mountains Junior School students performed to a full house last night, at the Junior School Cre8ive Sessions. The event, which is held once every semester, aims to showcase the creative talents of Junior School students.

Each student in the Kindergarten to Year 6 cohort was invited to perform or exhibit an artwork to parents and friends. The musical part of the evening featured a ukulele group performance, a number of solos by SMGS’s junior singer/songwriters, and other bands. Both contemporary and classical works were performed. Each student also their displayed artistic works as part of a classroom showcase. The projects were created during the course of daily classes.

Following the musical sessions, SMGS families were treated to a community Sausage Sizzle for dinner, and had the opportunity to mingle and socialise.

The SMGS Senior School Cre8ive Sessions will take place next Thursday, 15 November.
