Today, Year 9 student, Alexi Cross and SMGS Science, Mathematics and Physics teacher, Chanelle Abdipranoto had the opportunity to join the Upper Snowy Landcare Network tour with Landcare stalwarts, landholders and the CEO of Landcare NSW, Dr Adrian Zammit. Of the tour, Chanelle said, “We toured some of the Upper Snowy Landcare biodiversity plots, which have been established in response to an extensive tree dieback episode in the Monaro. It was a fantastic opportunity to learn more about Upper Snowy Landcare projects and the challenges in our local area with tree dieback and weeds. We look forward to working with Upper Snowy Landcare in the future to provide our students with the opportunity to be involved and learn more about our local environment.”
