Day 4 of Regionals was a massive day for our Junior School Students!

Thursday saw our students head to the start line for the following races:

Alpine – Div 5

Ski Cross – Div 4 & 6

Moguls – Div 4 & 5

The wet and cloudy weather didn’t dampen the spirits of our racers as they did their course inspections with SMGS Sports Captains Sophie Paske and Flynn Mooney. What a fantastic opportunity for our students to learn from two incredible role models!

Today’s events saw the most significant number of Junior School students from SMGS compete at regionals. The atmosphere was palpable as students high-fived and cheered each other and competitors from other schools.

Div 5 skier Reid Armstrong was happy to be back on the race course, claiming the gold snowflake medals for alpine and moguls! Reid’s favourite part of the event was “skiing fast and doing twisters!”.
