The 2022 National Snowsport Interschools Championships kicked off this week. By the numbers, SMGS is fielding its largest team to date, with 93 SMGS teams invited to compete at Nationals, 246 individual invitations, 305 National entries and 145 students.

Our Junior School students kicked off Day 1 at Perisher Resort, racing the clock and the best K-6 snowsports students in the country.

Day 2 saw our Senior School students start their Nationals campaign as they headed to the start gates for the Ski and Snowboard Slopestyle Events and Snowboard Cross. 

SMGS had some fantastic results across the first two days of competition with many podium appearances with the following top 5 results:
