We invite you to join us for the Kiandra House Fundraiser featuring MAVEN, a short documentary directed by Divya Gordon. Set in the breathtaking landscape of Kosciuszko National Park, MAVEN takes you on a journey through the Main Range in NSW, Australia. The film showcases athlete Chess Smee and members of an adventurous alpine community as they navigate the challenges of backcountry exploration and personal discovery. Supported by Arc’teryx and Nikon, this documentary offers a unique perspective on resilience, community, and environmental awareness.

All proceeds from this event will support climate research in the Snowy Mountains, led by Susanna Venn and her team from Deakin University. Their research focuses on understanding how alpine plants will adapt to warmer and drier future climates.
