About Tim Bland

Tim has been teaching at SMGS for over three years across a variety of subjects, including English, English Extension, Legal Studies, History, PDHPE and Geography. Outside of the classroom. Tim previously worked as a ski instructor and coach in Australia, Japan and America, and spent several years as the Perisher private ski school supervisor. Over the last two years, Tim was SMGS Head of Sport which included managing the ESA program. This year, Tim has stepped out of the Head of Sport role, to take on the position of Dean of Students Years 7 - 10, a new role at SMGS, which focuses largely on student wellbeing.
