Calling all Year 7-11 students! The Snowy Mountains Grammar School Scholarship and Bursary Program is now open for online applications. Our program is designed for students who are passionate about joining our learning environment and are committed to making a significant contribution to the life of the school.

Scholarships

Snowy Mountains Grammar School offers a limited number of Scholarships in the Middle and Senior School each year to students commencing in Years 7 to 11. Scholarships are typically offered for the duration of a student’s remaining years at Snowy Mountains Grammar School until completion of Year 12, subject to periodic review based on behaviour, general application and continuation of the selected area of meritorious performance. These Scholarships range from Academic Excellence, Science and Innovation, the Arts, Citizenship and General Excellence.

Are you considering applying for a 2026 Academic Scholarship at Snowy Mountains Grammar School?
 
All Academic Scholarship applicants must sit the ACER Scholarship Test either at SMGS or at another testing location.
 
ACER Scholarship Test registrations are now open and close at midnight AEDST on Sunday 2 February 2025.
 
The ACER Scholarship Test for Academic Scholarships will be held at Snowy Mountains Grammar School on the morning of Saturday 22 February 2025.

Bursaries

SMGS also considers and provides for a limited number of bursaries for families who otherwise could not attend the School. These are means-tested and reflect the circumstances of the individual family situation involving financial hardship.
