Parents and Friends Association

The SMGS Parents and Friends Association is a volunteer group of parents and friends of the school that provides support to the school and fundraises for the purchase of additional items of direct benefit for the students.

The P&F Committee meets monthly (except during Term 3) and is open to all interested suitable persons (parents/carers of SMGS). It provides a forum for meeting other members of the school community and co-ordinating fundraising activities and opportunities for the school.

The P&F consists of a Management Committee including:

  • President
  • Secretary
  • Treasurer (Elected at the AGM)
  • Up to four ordinary members (Elected at the subsequent General Meeting)
  • Principal (or delegate)
