Snowy Mountains Grammar School has been crowned Overall Champions at the 2026 Boost Mobile Australian MTB Interschools Championships in Thredbo.

Competing against more than 1,200 riders from close to 300 schools, students delivered an outstanding performance across all four disciplines, Downhill, Flow, All Mountain and Pump Track.

The School was named Champion in both the Senior and Junior divisions, securing the overall national title and highlighting exceptional depth across the team.

Senior riders led the way, with both Division 1 (Years 11–12) and Division 2 (Years 9–10) finishing first, while the Junior School team was crowned Australian MTB Interschools Primary School Champions.

Across the event, performances were marked by consistency and composure, with students delivering under pressure on a national stage.

Behind the results was a strong sense of teamwork, with families, staff and coaches playing an important role throughout the week. Special acknowledgement goes to Mountain Bike Coordinator Nathan B. for his leadership and commitment to the program.

This national title reflects more than success on the podium. It speaks to the strength of the program, the dedication of students, and the environment that supports them to perform at their best.
