Mr Craig Moore relocated from Sydney with his family to join Snowy Mountains Grammar School in December 2015.
Craig commenced as Head of Information Technology, a new role for our School at the time, with a department very much in its infancy and being built from the ground up. We were extremely fortunate to have someone of his capability join our School as a full-time IT professional.
As essentially a one-person department in those early years, the responsibility placed upon Craig to build a highly functional and reliable IT Department, supported by robust school-wide infrastructure, was significant.
Few of us fully appreciate just how much we rely on technology each and every day. Craig and his team ensure our School remains highly functional, while he has also led us into a new era of technological sophistication. Under his leadership, the School has progressed from a relatively basic IT environment to a highly capable organisation supported by modern, high-performing technologies.
Alongside this work, Craig has been a valued contributor and thought leader in promoting and marketing our School, generously lending his expertise while simultaneously building the IT Department.
While Craig is probably most comfortable ‘back of stage’ and away from the limelight, his contribution has extended directly into student learning. He has taught classes in robotics, coding and innovation, creating valuable opportunities for students to learn from an experienced industry professional.
Craig is always there to offer support and assistance to staff and students alike and his passion and dedication to Snowy Mountains Grammar School are clear.
Over the past ten years, Craig has made an outstanding contribution to our School and to all those within it. For all that you have given, we are very grateful and congratulate you, Craig, on ten years of exceptional service to Snowy Mountains Grammar School.
