The Snowy Mountains Grammar School Parents and Friends Association (P&F) plays a vital role in shaping the everyday experience of our students—often quietly, but always with impact.
Comprised of a small yet dedicated group of parents, the P&F brings the community together through events, fundraising and meaningful contributions that enhance school life. From welcome BBQs that help new families feel instantly at home, to community evenings, stalls and major fundraising initiatives, their work strengthens the sense of belonging that defines the School.
Across the past year, the P&F has delivered a series of successful events while raising significant funds to support projects that directly benefit students. Their contributions have included support for school facilities such as the gym and fan upgrades featured here as well as Speech Day prizes, staff appreciation and ongoing landscaping plans to create vibrant outdoor spaces for students to gather and connect.
Fundraising highlights, including Trivia Night and major raffles, continue to demonstrate the generosity and spirit of the community, with thousands of dollars raised to support future-focused projects.
Looking ahead, the P&F invites all families to get involved. Meetings are held on the second Tuesday of each month during Terms 1, 2 and 4, offering a welcoming and flexible way to contribute whether regularly or when time allows.
As one committee member shared, “The P&F is a small yet impactful group, working behind the scenes to create opportunities and experiences that benefit every student.”
With the much-loved Winter Olympics Trivia Night set for 15 May, there is no better time to be part of this passionate and generous community
