This semester marks an exciting milestone for our boarding community with the opening of our newly refurbished all-girls boarding house for Years 7 to 10. After months of careful planning and preparation, we are thrilled to welcome our students into a space that reflects the warmth, vibrancy and growth of our school community.
Modern Spaces Designed for Comfort and Connection
The transformation of the building has been remarkable. Our girls now enjoy extra-large shared bedrooms, each complete with their own ensuite, offering comfort, privacy and a sense of belonging. These rooms are more than just places to sleep, they are safe spaces where boarders can relax, connect and create lifelong friendships.
Dining With a View: Building Community Around the Table
At the heart of the new facility is a spacious and beautifully designed dining area. With sweeping views over the lake, mealtimes are no longer routine, they are opportunities for sharing stories, laughter and community. An upgraded commercial kitchen supports an expanded and nutritious meal program, tailored to meet the needs of our diverse and active boarding cohort.
Meeting the Needs of a Growing Boarding Program
The expansion was driven by the rapid growth of our boarding program—from 58 to 94 students. This includes boarders from our nationally recognised Snowsports Academy and students in our Term 3 Experience program. More than just numbers, this growth reflects the strong reputation of our boarding school and the trust families place in the care, wellbeing and education we provide.

Our boarding staff worked tirelessly to ensure the move was seamless. From logistics and furniture selection to meal planning and room allocations, every detail was thoughtfully considered. Their dedication ensured that the new space felt welcoming, vibrant and full of life from the very first day.

Already, the benefits of the enhanced environment are evident. There is a strong sense of pride, excitement and possibility echoing through the halls. More than just a building, this new girls’ boarding house is a home where students can grow academically, socially and personally.
