Mr Scott Frize
Head of Art and Design

Twenty years ago, in 2006, Mr Scott Frize relocated from Sydney with Mrs Frize to commence as the new Head of Boarding at Snowy Mountains Grammar School, immersing himself in residential life and leading Boarding for three years.

From there, Scott became Head of Junior School, continuing as a member of the School Executive Team and holding the role for a further ten years.

During this time, he made a significant contribution to the leadership and direction of the School, developing new initiatives and continuing to evolve the holistic educational experience of our Junior School students.

As part of his leadership, Scott oversaw the relocation of the Junior School from the Jagungal and Kosciuszko buildings to the learning precinct it occupies today, alongside the development of Eat Street. Over those years, he welcomed and settled many new students into Snowy Mountains Grammar School, helping set them on their future pathways from an early age.

Today, Scott leads the Art and Design Faculty, overseeing a diverse range of subjects that provide important opportunities for students to create, innovate and think critically. These creative and innovative areas allow students to discover and pursue their passions, enriching their lives not only during their time at School, but well into the future and developing a lifelong love of learning.

Under Scott’s leadership, the Faculty has also produced outstanding student work recognised through NSW Education Standards Authority HSC showcases, reflecting the exceptional quality of work being created by our students.

Most importantly, Scott models the School’s values wonderfully and impeccably. He is a terrific leader, a valued colleague and a friend to many. He is also an outstanding role model for students of all ages.

Scott has made an outstanding contribution to Snowy Mountains Grammar School throughout his 20 years as a member of staff and a leader. It is with heartfelt congratulations that we recognise Mr Scott Frize for this remarkable milestone as only the fourth member of staff in our School’s history to be recognised for 20 years of service.

Congratulations, Scott, and thank you for twenty years of extraordinary service to Snowy Mountains Grammar School.
