Over two days in February our Junior, Middle and Senior School students took to the pool bringing the same courage, colour and commitment. From Kindy’s first swim through a guard of honour to senior relays and house chants echoing across the deck, the Swimming Carnivals were a celebration of effort, encouragement and belonging.
Across both days, what stood out most was the way students showed up for one another. Every race was met with cheers, every finish celebrated. It was competitive, but more importantly, it was connected.
A special acknowledgement to our Year 12 and PASS students, who led and ran the events with confidence and care. Their leadership was evident throughout and earned glowing feedback from parents and pool staff alike.
There were standout performances in the pool, including Lola McTackett setting a new 9 Years Backstroke record and Siarra Bolton breaking a long-standing 14 Years Butterfly record.
House pride was strong across both carnivals. Mowamba claimed Junior School House Spirit, with Kiandra named Overall Champions. In the Middle and Senior School, Twynam took out House Spirit, while Cascades were crowned Overall Champions.
